He who dies at the extremest old age will be brought into the same condition with him who died prematurely. Marcus Aurelius. Meditations.  Book 9.

Chrystal's 2017 rendering based on the Foulis translation of 1742:

He who dies oldest will be in like case with him who dies before his time. Marcus Aurelius. Meditations.  Book 9.
