Image: Statue of a prince or dynast without crown, traditionally thought to be a Seleucid prince, maybe Attalus II of Pergamon, Bronze, Greek Hellenistic era, 3rd-2nd centuries BCE that I photographed at the Palazzo Massimo in Rome in 2009. Some scholars now think this may have been a Roman portrait of a man who admired Greek culture and commissioned a portrait in the Hellenistic style.
