Convert young men to good

Convert young men to what is good and just and thereby to bring them always into a state of mutual friendliness. Plato. Letter 7.328d

Image: One of the so-called Marly Horses commissioned in 1739 for the park of the castle of Marly. There are a number of horse tamer sculptures like this based on a 5th century BCE Greek original. The two sculptures by Guillaume Coustou the Elder (1677-1746) were transfered in 1794 to the entrance to the Champs-Élysées in Paris and replaced by cement copies in 1985. The originals are now at The Louvre. Image courtesy of Wikimedia Commons contributor, Marie-Lan Nguyen.
